Ingredients
Scale
Base
- 8 9-inch Flour Tortillas
Toppings
- 1 jar Pizza Sauce (approx. 12–16 oz)
- 1 pound Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 16 ounces Smoked Deli Ham, diced into 1/2-inch chunks
- 1 can Fresh Pineapple Chunks (approx. 15 ounces), drained
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Dried Oregano
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 390 degrees F (195 degrees C) to ensure it’s at the right temperature for baking the pizzas.
- Prepare the ham: Dice the smoked deli ham into 1/2-inch chunks, making it easy to distribute evenly across the pizzas.
- Spread the sauce: On each 9-inch flour tortilla, spread a heaped tablespoon of pizza sauce evenly, creating a flavorful base layer.
- Add the cheese base: Sprinkle a generous base layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce on all tortillas. Reserve half of the cheese for topping later.
- Layer the toppings: Distribute the diced ham and fresh pineapple chunks evenly on top of the cheese. Then finish with the remaining shredded mozzarella and a sprinkle of dried oregano to add aroma and flavor.
- Bake the pizzas: Place the prepared tortillas on baking paper-lined trays. Bake in batches of four for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the tortillas are golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately: Remove the pizzas from the oven and enjoy while hot for the best texture and flavor.
Notes
- For crispier edges, use a pizza stone or preheated baking sheet instead of a baking tray.
- You can substitute smoked deli ham with cooked Canadian bacon or regular ham slices.
- Fresh pineapple can be replaced with frozen pineapple chunks, just make sure to thaw and drain excess liquid.
- To make this recipe gluten-free, replace flour tortillas with gluten-free tortillas.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 2 days and reheated in the oven to restore crispiness.
