- Prepare the oven and potatoes: Preheat your oven to 190°C (170°C fan)/Gas mark 5. Prick each potato several times using a fork to allow steam to escape during baking.

- Bake the potatoes: Arrange the potatoes on a baking sheet without overcrowding and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour until the skins are crisp and the insides are soft.
