Instructions

  1. Prepare the Wings: Separate each chicken wing into two pieces at the joint using sharp kitchen scissors, optionally removing the wing tips for easier eating and presentation.
  2. Season the Wings: Toss the chicken wing pieces in the olive or sunflower oil ensuring they are evenly coated. Sprinkle your chosen seasoning on top and mix well to ensure every piece is well flavored.
  3. Arrange in Air Fryer: Place the wings in the air fryer. If your air fryer has a paddle, use it to stir the wings during cooking for even crispiness. If not, arrange wings evenly on the air fryer tray without overlapping.
  4. Cook the Wings: Set the air fryer to cook the wings for 35 minutes. Check them at this point—they should be tender and nearly falling off the bone with crisped skin.
  5. Finish Cooking: If the wings need more time, cook for an additional 5 minutes or until fully cooked through and skin is bubbly and crispy.
  6. Serve Immediately: Carefully remove the wings from the air fryer to prevent the steam from softening the crispy skin. Discard any excess drippings from the fryer. Serve the wings hot with your choice of dipping sauce.

  • Removing wing tips is optional but makes the wings easier to eat.
